Heard a Christmas carol while rugged up in a Roxby winter? If you catch one, note the time, date & song, and give us a shout — we’ll send it back to December where it belongs!

BE PART OF OUR NEW PROJECT!

At RoxFM, we’re working on something close to our hearts. The Rox Resiliency Project is a local initiative dedicated to exploring the strength, courage, and perseverance of individuals and families in our community. Through storytelling, interviews, and shared experiences, we aim to celebrate resilience, the human ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of challenges. The ROX Resiliency Project, a 6-part audio series sharing real stories of overcoming challenges in Roxby Downs and other rural communities.

We’re looking for people willing to share a personal story about a tough time and how you found the strength to keep going, big or small.

It could be about:
• Loss, grief, or starting over
• Burnout, injury, or recovery
• Change, isolation, or life’s unexpected turns
• What resiliency means to you

Your story could inspire someone else, show them they’re not alone, and celebrate the resilience that runs through our community. You can choose to remain anonymous — and if you prefer, someone else can read your words on air. We can even interview you so you don’t have to write a thing.

Send your story or voice recording to: manager@roxfm.com.au or can submit it anonymously online here.

The ROX Resiliency Project will air later this year on RoxFM 105.5 and be available as a podcast, alongside great music and local voices.

Let’s show the strength and heart of our community.

This project is brought to life through community support and donations from BHP, giving a voice to stories that inspire, inform, and connect us all.
